INVITED SPEAKERS

TOPICS OF INTEREST. The topics of interest include but are not limited to:

SUMMER SCHOOL TUTORIALS. A set of tutorials on closed topics will be provided by keynote speakers. The exact contents of the tutorials will be published soon on the RILW Web pages. Student selection will be based on their CVs and background.

The Summer school part will take place in a mixed form: two weeks as a virtual seminar (June 11-23, 2001), and a week of face-to-face meeting (August 11 - 18, 2001), where each student will present the prepared homework.

LANGUAGE. English is the official Language of the Workshop

DEADLINES

ABSTRACTS, TUTORIAL PROPOSALS AND PAPERS SUBMISSION. E-mail is the preferred mode of communication. Please send your abstracts and tutorial proposals (both: maximum 300 words) as a plain text attached to e-mail to Dr. Nic. Nistor (nistor@emp.paed.uni-muenchen.de). Every incoming abstract, tutorial proposal and paper will be confirmed as soon as possible via e-mail. The editorial board may suggest modifications, or a poster presentation instead of a paper one.

Paper FORMAT: To ensure that high quality, professional proceedings are published and available at the beginning of the conference, authors are urged to take special care in preparing their papers. Please use the Microsoft Word 97/98 format for your papers! We have created a document template (click here!) as well as two examples (click here for the first example! - Adobe Acrobat 3 format; click here for the second! - MS Word 97/98 format; click here for the third! - RTF format). Color pictures cannot be printed, so make sure that all of them are in black/white or grey tones. The papers should not exceed 10 pages in the recommended format.

PRE-REGISTRATION. Since the number of participants is strictly limited please pre-register, by means of a simple e-mail message, as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION FEES

The fees include the costs of the opening dinner, soft drinks during the conference, social activities, the Proceedings volume of the workshop and other materials.

ACCOMODATION. The Workshop will be held in the 'Bethlen Kata' Study House, Sumuleu-Ciuc, county Harghita, Romania. Full accommodation (hotel rooms and meals) will be provided by the workshop organizer at a reduced rate of 60 DM/day (25 DM/day for Romanian participants) for the duration of the conference.

The full text of accepted papers and posters, together with other materials and information will be published in the Conference Proceedings volume and on the WWW at the locations:
